Taylor is a senior majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations with a minor in Law and Society. Originally from Auburn NY, she made the long journey to Ithaca to attend Cornell. In her spare time Taylor can likely be found viewing videos of cute animals, reading, eating, and avoiding winter activities of any sort. Taylor served as the Chief of Staff for CMUNC 2017 and is extremely excited to take on a larger role in CMUNC 2018. She can’t wait to meet all the advisors and delegates in April for greatest CMUNC ever!
Cole is a senior at Cornell double majoring in History and Economics with a minor in Law and Society. Hailing from the torrid state of Arizona, he decided to brave the harsh winters of Ithaca due to Cornell’s prestigious academic reputation and stunning campus. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in business analytics or accounting. When he’s not cramming for exams or Director-Generaling for CMUNC, Cole is likely to be obsessively following baseball and politics, watching Netflix, doing the New York Times crossword puzzle, or eating baby carrots. After serving as the Director of Finance for CMUNC 2017, he is excited to take on this new challenge and ensure that CMUNC 2018 runs smoothly from a logistical standpoint. Cole can’t wait to welcome delegates and advisors to Ithaca in the spring for what promises to be an unforgettable CMUNC.
Anant is a Junior in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, studying Biological Sciences, concentrating in General Biology, and minoring in Global Health. He has been participating in Model UN since in sophomore year of high school and has had the opportunity to compete, staff and help organize conferences. When he isn’t doing Model UN, Anant can be found catching up on the news, performing research, taking a nap, playing copious amounts Mario Kart or Zelda, or geeking out about Star Wars, Nintendo or Marvel. Anant has had the privilege to serve on CMUNC’s secretariat since freshman year and is excited to welcome all the delegates and staffers this spring!
Holly is a senior at Cornell majoring in Biology and Society with a minor in Nutritional Sciences. She hopes to attend medical school and someday work to stop the spread of infectious diseases around the world. When she's not in the library, Holly loves to be outside swimming, hiking, or playing on the beach. Holly has been a chair for the past two years at CMUNC, and she is very excited to join the secretariat as the Under-Secretary General of General Assemblies and Specialized Committees for CMUNC 2018.
Lauren is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Economics and minoring in climate change. Originally from New Jersey, she first got involved in Model UN her sophomore year of high school. Since then, she has had the opportunity to staff and compete in MUN conferences. When she’s not participating in Model UN, Lauren enjoys baking, swimming, exploring NYC, and listening to the Hamilton soundtrack. Lauren is very excited to serve on the secretariat as the Under-Secretary General of Specialized Committees!
Mitchell is a sophomore studying Biological Sciences, concentrating in Cell and Molecular Biology, with future hopes to attend medical school. Outside of CMUNC, Mitchell is a member of his social fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, and his pre-medical fraternity, Phi Delta Epsilon. When he isn’t studying or sleeping, you can find him playing basketball, watching netflix, or hanging out with his friends. Having served on secretariat last year as well, he’s eager and ready for this years conference, and hopes to provide delegates with the experience that CMUNC brought him, when he was a delegate in his high school MUN career.
Tal is a Sophomore in the College of Engineering studying Computer Science. She has lived on Long Island for most of her life, but is originally from Herzilya, Israel. She enjoys watching movies, playing tennis, and participating in many different types of student organizations. She has been involved in Model UN since her first year of high school, is an active member of CIAS, and served as a Conference Assistant Director for CMUNC 2017. Outside of CMUNC, Tal is a part of Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity and the Rawlings Research Scholars program. She is very excited to serve as the Director of Finance for CMUNC 2018!
Madi is a sophomore studying Industrial and Labor Relations, minoring in psychology and a few other things, with plans to attend law school. She has been participating in Model United Nations since sophomore year of high school, both as a delegate and as a chair. She has worked with PR in the past, and is eager to take on CMUNC as her next project. Originally from southern California, she can often be found complaining about the weather in Ithaca. Otherwise, she is in a few other clubs on campus, a Cornell Tradition Fellow, and involved with a social sorority. Her hobbies include reading, ameteur art (as in, five year old level capabilities), horseback riding, and grinding Netflix.
John Fang is a sophomore at Cornell originally from Shanghai, China currently majoring in Government and minoring in International Relations and Business. He has been participating and organizing Model UN Conferences starting from his high school freshman year, which has introduced him to many opportunities all around the globe. John has also traveled extensively, in fact to all continents except Antarctica, and is keen on exploring different cultures and especially interested in different international cuisines.
Abigail Chen is a junior at Cornell University, where she majors in Government and China & Asia-Pacific Studies. She is a native of the bustling southern Chinese city of Guangzhou. Last year, Abigail served as the Under-Secretary-General for CMUNC 2017 and now she is the Director of Outreach for CMUNC 2018. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and practicing Khmer (the Cambodian language) religiously.
Cameron is a sophomore double majoring in Computer Science and Economics. Originally from London, England, he first became involved with Model UN in his junior year of high school. During CMUNC 2017, he served as a Conference Assistant Director, and also served on the dais of CMUNC's first UN4MUN-style committee. Cameron is very excited for CMUNC 2018.
