Every year, CMUNC hosts hundreds of students from high schools around the world to participate in an educational simulation of the United Nations. This gives students an unparalleled opportunity to experience and better understand the complex nature of international relations and hone their abilities in communication, leadership, research, collaboration, and compromise.

Since the first conference in 2001, CMUNC has attracted students from Canada, South Africa, China, India, across the United States, and many other destinations across the globe. It caters to around 700 high school students and 60 high school faculty advisors, and is made possible through the efforts of over 100 Cornell students who staff and coordinate the event. Needless to say, there is a diverse and extensive array of young adults involved in making CMUNC a worthwhile, unforgettable experience for all of our delegates.

As such, our conference offers sponsors the opportunity to reach a large and diverse audience. As a sponsor, students, faculty advisors, and staff will be exposed to your organization through advertisement in our delegate guide, the CMUNC website, Opening Ceremonies program, and during conference events. CMUNC depends on sponsorships to provide financial aid to students who otherwise would not be able to attend the conference, as well as to offset transportation, facility, and informational expenses, enabling us to provide students with this valuable learning experience.

We believe that every student should have the opportunity to participate at CMUNC 2024 regardless of their financial background. For that reason, we are expanding our financial aid program this year to help delegates with different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences to attend our conference. We provide financial assistance for expenses directly related to the conference, including deductions in the registration price, waiver of the transportation fee, free meal tickets, or waiver of the deposit.
