Conference Checklist
Please read all of the information on this page carefully. Do not hesitate to contact the Logistics staff via the "Contact Staff" page located under the banner if you have any questions concerning the information you see here.
- Online Registration Available: September 3, 2011
Advisors are encouraged to register their schools as soon as is feasible. Delegation space is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. After all of the available space is filled, registrants will be placed on a waiting list. Further, the earlier schools register, the more likely they are to get accommodations at their preferred hotel at the special CMUNC discount rate
- Priority Registration Deadline: November 5, 2011
- Regular Registration Deadline: January 15, 2012
- Late Registration: After January 15, 2012
- Reserve your hotel rooms at one of the four designated hotels: Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, or the Statler. Discount codes are available by logging into the website after your registration is confirmed.
If you choose to stay elsewhere in Ithaca, you are responsible for your own transportation to the Cornell campus and committee session. There are no hotels in Ithaca that are a reasonable, safe walking distance from campus except the Statler Hotel located directly on campus.
This is a change from previous years. CMUNC staff will no longer be handling hotel reservations for schools. Advisors are responsible for reserving their accommodations. CMUNC has blocked rooms at the three hotels listed above at a discounted rate. The earlier you reserve your accommodations, the more likely you are to get your desired hotel at the discounted rate. More information can be found on the "Conference Details" section of the website.
- Final Day to Reduce Delegation Size: February 8, 2012. After this date, no refunds for canceled delegates will be given. If you need to add or remove delegates, contact the logistics staff through the "Contact Staff" page, found under the banner.
- February 8, 2012: Last day CMUNC will accept registration payments. Failure to send payment before this date may jeopardize your place in the conference.
- Send your hotel information to CMUNC staff as soon as your accommodations are set. You can do this by logging in going to "Registration" then "My School's Profile Page"
- Country Requests Due: February 8th, 2012

- Position Papers Due: Position papers should be e-mailed to chairs by March 7th if you want them reviewed and turned back with comments. Otherwise, they must be submitted on the table of the dais before the first committee session to be eligible for an award.
