Hotels

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FACULTY ADVISORS: When reserving rooms, be sure say that you are booking for the Cornell Model United Nations Conference and ask to be connected to the hotel's Sales department and make your reservation with that operator, not the standard front desk. If you do not do this, you will not benefit from the CMUNC hotel discount and may be told that there are no rooms available. CMUNC has reserved a majority of the rooms in all these hotels. To access these specially reserved rooms, you MUST book through the Sales Department. Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with any hotel questions!

The conference hotel accommodations will be at the Holiday Inn Ithaca Downtown, Ramada Inn, Hilton Garden Inn and for the first time, at The Statler Hotel. Schools are responsible for reserving their own hotel accommodations. CMUNC has blocked rooms at each of these hotels at a discounted rate. After your registration to CMUNC is confirmed, you will have access to the discount codes for the hotels by logging into the website and going to "My School's Profile Page" under the "Registration" tab. While the conference has blocked approximately enough rooms for the conference, schools should reserve their rooms as far in advance as possible to ensure their top choice and discount rate. CMUNC requires schools to stay in one of these four hotels as we will not be providing bus service from any other hotel to campus. The only hotel within reasonable, safe walking distance of campus is the Statler Hotel located directly on-campus. Due to the limited accommodations and the high demand for the Statler, CMUNC has only been able to block a very limited number of rooms at the Statler.

Here are the rates available to schools attending CMUNC Per Night:

Holiday Inn: $134 + 13% tax per double or single

Ramada Inn: $109.95 + 13% tax per double

Hilton Garden Inn: $142 + 13% tax per double/$115 + 13% tax per single king

The Statler Hotel: $195 +13% tax for Thursday and $250 + 13% for Friday and Saturday.

For schools who have previously attended CMUNC, please note that this year there is a significant change in which accommodations are handled. Hotels are no longer included in the registration fee and CMUNC staff will no longer be handling reservations directly. Schools are now responsible for making reservations at the hotels. We hope this change makes it easier for schools to deal with their accommodation needs. If you need any help with accommodations, please don't hesitate to get in touch with CMUNC staff.
