February 8, 2012: Last day to reduce the number of delegates attending the conference for your delegation. After this date, CMUNC will not be able to refund any of the fees. If you need to remove delegates, or cancel your registration for your school, contact the logistics staff through the "Contact Staff" page no later than this date at 11:59pm. CMUNC must also receive all payments by this date. Failure to do so may jeopardize your place in the conference.

Please mail checks to:

The Cornell International Affairs Society
c/o The Cornell Model UN Conference
PostMarket/ILR Box #22
Ithaca NY, 14853

The chek should be written out to Cornell Model UN Conference or CMUNC.

Please note that this year CMUNC will not be directly reserving hotel rooms for schools as was done in previous years. As a result, the fees this year may seem substantially higher but in fact, the cost-per-delegate is estimated to be less than it was last year.  The estimated cost-per-delegate is $215 (assuming 4 students per room) if you register during the early registration period (compared with $245 last year). The actual cost-per-delegate will vary based on when you register, the delegation size, and your specific accommodations.

Notes on Fees:

1. The Transportation Fee was implemented because in previous years this was calculated as part of the hotel portion of the conference fees. All delegates staying at one of the three designated hotels are required to pay this fee. The hotels are not a reasonable, safe walking distance from campus. This fee only does not apply to local students who transport themselves to the Cornell campus.
2. CMUNC has blocked approximately enough rooms for the conference. We urge all schools to reserve their accommodations as soon as they can after they register to have the greatest likelihood of getting the desired hotel at the discounted rates.
3. During the late registration period, the discounted rate on the hotel rooms may no longer be available.
